ABEL MOTSOADI MOENG, bass-baritone
Abel Moeng began his studies in singing in Cape Town. He soon received an invitation to the study at the Juilliard School in New York, where he had the opportunity to work with famous musicians such as Leontyne Price, James Levine and Luciano Pavarotti. He was a first African singer who participated as a finalist in the Cardiff Singer of the World competition, where he performed with distinction. Abel has been chosen as a fellow of the Merola Program of the San Francisco Opera. He also performed in leading roles with the opera companies in Pretoria and Cape Town in South Africa, as well as a soloist in concerts with the Long Island Symphony.
